Missing Camera :(

I think our camera is lost :( makes me so sad because there have been so many precious moments I have wanted to capture and unfortunately I have not been able to. Breaks my heart. However, my Iphone has been a good replacement and I am counting my pennies to get a new and maybe even better one (wink wink)

Mae has gotten sooo big and has changed so much. She "talks" all the time now. And just yesterday she signed her first sign.... MILK!! She is just amazing! Now I have to learn more sign language to keep up with her growing mind! (Nic thinks I'm crazy for teaching her sign language) So if anyone has any good signs or websites I can go to please let me know!

We also went swimming yesterday (we are house/dog sitting for my sister so I have a HUGE house and pool for a week woop woop!) Mae has been in a pool before but wasn't very fond of swimming. I thought I would keep trying this week, and yesterday she fell in love with the water! She kicked and splashed and laughed and tried to get me to let her go!! Water Polo Player in the making!!

So much is going to change in the next few months and I cant wait! Ill keep looking for my camera but I dont think I will find it :(

An AMAZING DAY

Yesterday Bro called up and asked Nic, Maemae and I to go swimming at Seeesters house. We had nothing to do so swimming it was. We bought Pizza crazy bread cookies grapes (for K2) and tons of candy and headed over there. Mae wasn't feeling to well because she was teething :( but Seeester has the magic touch and put her to sleep while we all swam. And We had SOOOOOOOO much fun!

All the kids were in the pool, splashing and having a good time. K5 was soo funny just floating along in one of the pool floaty's. K1, Bro and Nic played water basketball and did some crazy running/jumping dunks.

Then when Nic and I got home Nates present had arrived! He is an ammmmazing photographer (www.natejensencreative.com) and he took some pictures of Mae last time he was here and OH MY GOSH... this picture is BREATHTAKING!!It is SOOO nice having a professional photographer in the family!! :)

Now we are just trying to figure out something to do today :) Life is simply amazing.....

And Clearly i SUCK at updating!! AHH

Well life with a 6 month old keeps me, well BUSY!! Between working... Miss Mae... bills.... visits.... weddings :)..... birthday parties.... and trying to keep our house clean I feel like I dont have a second to breath!! hopefully things will start slowing down here and we can get back to regular life!! Our Maelynne is getting SO big its crazy. We misplaced our camera so I have been slacking on taking pictures (BAD MOM!) but lets just say my Iphone has gotten at least a picture a day so thats a good thing :)

Lately Mae has gotten into "rolling" we put her down, walk away and when we look back shes across the room (ok not that far but you get my drift) She "talks" all day and jumps in the jumper until shes exhausted! 

Nic and I celebrated out One Year Wedding anniversary on May 23rd. We were out in Texas for the Weekend for Mike and Allis wedding. It was the first time we left Little Miss. But Mumma and Papa took care of her so we didnt worry at all. (expect for the few break downs I had but luckly Nic was there to comfort me) She was amazing and had sooo much fun playing with her cousins at Aunti Nanas and Uncle Jays house. It really is Amazing how time flies.

Gramma and Grampa (Nics Parents) are moving out here Grampa is already here and Gramma is coming when they sell the house in Ankeny, Iowa. hopefully thats soon! We recently spent the weekend at their new house and had a blast!

Thats it for now... I will keep looking for the camera to update some pictures!! TTFN!!

3 MONTHS! AHH

Wow, 3 months FLEW by!! I really need to keep up on this blog better!!

Lets see what has happened!

Mae is now 5 months and is growing so much everyday! Heres one of my favorite pictures!

I love her crazy old man hair :) Nic lovingly refers to it as a "skullet" much like a mullet but almost bald on top. HAHA none the less she is beautiful beyond words
We also went to California for a week and had such a good time. Auntie Shona took pictures and I will post those later.
We were sooo lucky to meet Miss Sassy Sage! She is just 3 days older than Miss Mae and just GORGEOUS!! I so wish they could be best friends much like Erin (her mom) and I were when we were growing up. (Its crazy how theres some people in your life that you can not talk to for years and when you finally see each other again its like nothing has changed!!) Anyways here are the two girls meeting!

I loves Sage's face in this.. shes thinking "I dont lay on my back I wanna get up and go" and then theres Mae thinking "Huh?" haha Sage is just soo Freakin CUTE!! Cant wait to go Back to California and have another play date!!

Well I hear Little Miss growling in her room... Its what she does when she wants me to come get her... Silly girl :)

Anne Geddes Shirt

We got dressed up and started taking pictures the other day. She was being a little fussy when i wanted to take the pictures but as soon as I took one picture she started smiling! I have a feeling shes going to love the camera :)
